Job Description:

East Asia Management University (EAMU) is the latest private international university to be approved and authorised by the national State government to deliver globally recognised university programs and courses for the benefits of our Cambodian people and nation’s economy and developments. Expected to commence operations in late 2019, the university is currently conducting a series of hiring to recruit suitable and qualified candidates to fill both academic and non-academic positions.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist the Head of School or Senior Academic officer in the smooth functioning of the Faculties or Schools.
  • Proper record keeping, document filing, organising of materials and control
  • Prepare timely returns and reports to the management, MOEYS and university partners
  • Assist in the translation of documents in Khmer/English to provide accurate information for decision making 
  • Coordinate the pre- and post- stages of each teaching semester, including course planning, resources control and class scheduling
  • Attend to the daily student matters for the smooth conduct of classes and activities to support academic performance

Job Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor Degree or related professional qualification

Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply. Applicants with working experience in similar positions may be considered for the Senior Academic officer post.

  • Must be highly proficient in both Khmer and English, and able to translate official documents between the two languages with ease.
  • Possess good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong work ethics, responsible and a positive attitude in a people-oriented environment.
