Students and staff from East Asia Management University laced up their running shoes and joined thousands of participants at the Amret Fun Run 2026 on May 31, at Koh Pich, Phnom Penh — celebrating health, community, and the spirit of lifelong learning.
East Asia Management University (EAMU) joined Amret's annual Fun Run at the iconic Koh Pich waterfront in Phnom Penh. Under the theme "10 Thousand Steps For 10 Thousand Students" the event brought together thousands of participants from across the country — students, professionals, families, and community members — in a shared celebration of health, wellness, and the pursuit of knowledge.

EAMU's participation in the Amret Fun Run reflects the university's commitment to going beyond the classroom — engaging with industry partners and the broader community in meaningful, active ways. A spirited team of EAMU students and staff donned the official event jerseys and took to the streets of Koh Pich, completing both the 5K and 10K routes alongside hundreds of fellow runners in the early morning energy of Phnom Penh.

The Amret Fun Run is more than a race — it is a community-driven initiative that promotes physical well-being, social connection, and the value of education. EAMU's involvement as a university partner underscores a shared mission: to inspire young people to lead healthier, more engaged lives, and to foster the kind of university-industry relationships that enrich student experience beyond academic study.

EAMU congratulates all participants — students, staff, and the wider EAMU community — who took part in this year's Amret Fun Run. We are proud to stand alongside our industry partners in championing the values of health, community service, and lifelong learning that sit at the heart of everything we do.
