On the same day as their visit to Rosewood Phnom Penh, EAMU representatives visited Royal Railway on August 26, 2026, to meet with Logistics & Supply Chain Management students on internship placement.

On August 26, 2026, East Asia Management University (EAMU) continued a day of industry engagement with a visit to Royal Railway, Cambodia's national rail freight and logistics operator, to meet with Logistics & Supply Chain Management students currently completing their internship placements with the company. The visit came on the same day as a similar check-in at Rosewood Phnom Penh, underscoring EAMU's commitment to staying closely connected with students across all of its industry partnerships.

The delegation toured Royal Railway's operational offices, where interns are gaining firsthand exposure to the realities of freight dispatch, dry port coordination, and rail logistics management. From reviewing dispatch schedules and freight documentation to observing the company's live tracking and CCTV control room monitoring rail and road traffic across its network, students are being immersed in the operational backbone of Cambodia's logistics sector.

EAMU representatives also held a discussion with Royal Railway staff to review the interns' progress, discuss their integration into the workplace, and gather feedback on how the placement is supporting their professional development. The conversation reflected a shared focus on equipping students with practical, industry-relevant experience that complements their academic training in logistics and supply chain management.

This visit reinforces EAMU's broader strategy of building strong ties with major Cambodian enterprises across diverse industries, giving students the opportunity to apply their skills in real operational environments. EAMU extends its sincere thanks to Royal Railway for welcoming its students and providing them with valuable hands-on exposure to the logistics field.
