EAMU Welcomes Don Bosco School to Our Campus

East Asia Management University was pleased to welcome students from Don Bosco School to our campus today. We had the opportunity to meet with Grade 12 students to discuss their plans and options after high school, and to introduce them to the excellent facilities available at EAMU. 📅 Date: 9 June 2022📍 Location: East Asia Management University (EAMU) Campus During the visit, we enjoyed sharing detailed information about our academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and campus life. The students were engaged and curious, making the session both productive and enjoyable. Climate Change&Cambodia’s Challenges—Talk by Dr. Chhinh Nyda

East Asia Management University was honored to host a special guest lecture on the pressing issue of climate change and its impact on Cambodia, delivered by the esteemed Dr. Chhinh Nyda, Professor and Researcher from the Department of Economic Development at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). 📅 Date: 29 November 2021📍 Location: East Asia Management University (EAMU) Campus Dr. Nyda delivered an insightful and thought-provoking presentation titled “Climate Change and Cambodia’s Challenges,” which shed light on the root causes of climate change, its global and local consequences, and the critical steps Cambodia must take to move toward a carbon-neutral future. Key Highlights of the Talk: The scientific basis and human-driven causes of climate change Cambodia’s unique vulnerabilities to environmental degradation National strategies and international cooperation to reduce carbon emissions The role of education, youth, and innovation in climate action Open Q&A session with engaging student participation This session provided EAMU students with a deeper understanding of one of the most urgent global issues of our time. Dr. Nyda’s expertise and clear delivery allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world implications, especially in the Cambodian context.
